JOHN STONE MBE
Founder and Chairman
John has had an illustrious career at the forefront of the beef industry. He has held a Royal Warrant and has been awarded an MBE for his services to the industry. He is the very definition of a master butcher. His unwavering commitment to quality and excellence of service are the cornerstones of the John Stone brand.
Tim was instrumental in setting up the John Stone process when the business was established in Ireland more than twenty years ago. As a sixth generation butcher and son of the founder, John Stone, he knows quality meat. Now, he is proud to take the helm as managing director and continue the tradition of excellence that John Stone stands for.
Jonathan is a third generation master butcher. His career spans over four decades from retail to foodservice for global companies. His passion and respect for the animal and for good husbandry is at the forefront of everything he does.
Fine Foods Development Director
Simon adds considerable experience to the team with a long and distinguished career in the meat and fish industry. Originally working under John he re-joins the family business with Tim at John Stone Fine Foods in 2023.
Marcella is the Office Manager and has years of experience in accountancy. Marcella manages all aspects of our delivery logistics, from processing orders to arranging transport and order confirmation documents.
Edward is a fourth generation farmer with a passion for the agriculture sector. He has a bachelor in agricultural science from UCD and a masters in supply chain management with 5 years experience in the meat industry. Sustainability is important to Edward and he strives to improve this where he can.
Declan is a trained butcher with
over 35 years’ experience. You may recognise Declan who also drives our John Stone branded van, delivering to customers and restaurants all over Ireland.
Krzystzof has 8 years experience in the meat industry, taking in many sectors including retail, sales and production. Quality, attention to detail and customer satisfaction are what he aims for.
Matty has been working with John Stone for over 8 years and is in charge to ensuring all products including packaging match the high standards we set as a company.
As a Fellow on the Bord Bia Marketing Fellowship Program Jane is representing John Stone in Singapore. Jane will be focusing on identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with existing customers.
Pat has 20 years experience in driving and delivery all over Ireland. He is very popular with all our customers and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is looked after. He is a valued member of our team.
