His lineage is impressive with four generations of butchers before him and has been at the forefront of the beef industry for many years. He has had an illustrious career supplying the finest beef to the finest establishments around the world. He has held a Royal Warrant and has been awarded an MBE for services to the industry.

For over six decades I have built my unrivalled reputation in selecting the very best beef from totally traceable herds, reared naturally only on the freshest, greenest grass. This, combined with a unique dry ageing process creates a highly distinctive flavour and the most succulent meat.
I have always believed that the product should speak for itself. Our master butchers knowledge and expertise in the selection and dry ageing process here at John Stone is built on this principal and on the traditional values that have come from four generations of butchers before me.
Today, I am still personally involved and am preserving this heritage by entrusting the brand and all it stands for to my son Tim, who is the best person to ensure that our combined passion and experience of this industry is transferred to you, your kitchen and your customers.
